The Power and Control Wheel
The Power and Control Wheel describes the tactics men use to control their intimate partners. They use these tactics in an attempt to get their partners to stop doing something or for them to start doing something.
The Tactics of Control
- Use of Fear
- Abuse his/her Feelings
- Use of Isolation
- Minimizing, Denying, or Blaming
- Using the Children
- Using male/female Privilege
- Economic Abuse
- Threats and Intimidation
Now, Unfortunately I was unable to source a photo directed at both males and females. But this article is for both! Domestic violence does NOT discriminate.
I am currently writing an article on how to safely leave a D.V relationship. Please follow me for further updates.
